This is the first consultation event to hear perspectives from other government institutions and civil society working in the area of protecting children and young people in danger, especially those who have the potential to be considered by the government as members of the network of protection of children and young people in danger.
This event is a pattern that has been held by the CNC for the political conflict that occurred in the Maulau village in the Ainaro Municipality where some communities became victims because their family was killed by a perpetrator from different political parties on August 7, 1974 before the coup in East Timor. Through reconciliation activities, CNC managed to reconcile the families of the victims and the perpetrator who had a bad relationship for 40 years.
